I would highly encourage you to take few minutes to read about the services below before you book a session.
Your comfort level is a priority so if you don't want something to be part of the service, it can be eliminated. If you are first time client and not sure of which service would suit your needs best, you may select one and the right one can be adjusted at the time of check in.
Aromatherapy can be added to any service at no additional cost. The pure organic essential oil(s) of your choice will be incorporated in the session by inhaling and blending with the massage oil.
Reflexology uses a technique based on zone theory that focuses on specific pressure points within client's feet and hands to help correct energy flows throughout the body. Each pressure point can be mapped to various organs in the body. The nerve endings are stimulated and improves the blood circulation in the whole body. The client stays fully clothed and the feet are exposed. Non greasy oil/cream is used for the session.
Reiki uses a technique commonly called palm or hands on healing. Through the use of this technique, the practitioner uses intent and transfers universal energy (i.e., Reiki) in the form of qi (Japanese: ki) through the palms, which they believe allows for self-healing and a state of equilibrium. The client stays fully clothed and no oil/cream is used in the session.
Relaxation Massage mainly uses Swedish Massage with smooth gliding strokes on the body combined with Head, Face and/or Feet Massage if requested by the client. This massage promotes relaxation, eases the stress in the body, releases the sinus/headaches. It is a classic massage that will melt down your stress and allow you to slip into a calm state of relaxation. Aromatherapy is a great option with this service. The client has to undress and shall remain draped at all times. The area to be massaged is exposed and non greasy oil//cream is used.
Therapeutic Massage mainly uses Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, Sports Massage and Stretching techniques(one or more depending on the nature of the problem). This massage is primarily focused on problem areas such as knots, trigger points, constricted bands and limited range of motion. Other examples are frozen shoulder, neck stiffness and lower back pain. The client may experience discomfort but the therapist will ensure the comfort level of the client first. The client has to undress and shall remain draped at all times. The area to be massaged is exposed. Non greasy oil/cream is used but mildly.
Hot Stone Massage In this massage, smooth river/basalt stones are heated, lubricated with oil and used for massage. The therapeutic effects of heat are used to relax muscles more deeply. The hot stones are used as an extension of the therapist’s hands. The use of massage stones induces deep relaxation and provides a unique experience many find to be tremendously calming and centering. The client has to undress and shall remain draped at all times. The area to be massaged is exposed and non greasy oil//cream is used.
Fusion Massage This massage is an integration of two or more services on the menu based on client's preferences, existing condition and overall assessment before and during the session. The client's comfort level is very important so the therapist will work with the client to customize the session. Example If you wish to have Relaxation Massage and Therapeutic Massage integrated in one session, choose Fusion Massage.
Sound Therapy A Sound Therapy treatment is both a passive and participatory experience. The passive aspect is that you become more relaxed by breathing deeply and slowing down thoughts. By doing this, you prepare yourself to become the receiver of sound. Some of the tools I use are Tuning Forks, Himalayan Singing Bowls, Tingsha Cymbals, Drumming and the background music. I find that vocal toning is an incredibly powerful practice that gives us the ability to fine tune our greatest vibrational instrument, our own body. A human body in its perfect healthy state vibrates at a high frequency. The high frequency of the sound tools raises the frequency of the body vibrating at a low frequency through a natural phenomena called entrainment or resonance.
